The P1 meter measures your electricity consumption in real time, so your home battery knows exactly when charging or discharging pays off. It's automatically added to your cart.
Most home batteries make you choose: either work with your existing solar panels, or go for a brand-new installation. The Zendure SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro does both. Alongside a connection for your current inverter, this top model in the Mix series has its own 8 kW solar input, letting you connect panels directly to the battery. Together that's good for up to 13 kW of solar input, paired with 8 kWh of storage and bidirectional power of up to 4000W.
Because the two MPPT inputs work independently, you get the most out of an east-west roof too. If the power goes out, the backup output keeps your essential devices running while the battery keeps charging from the sun during the day. The battery is good for 10,000 cycles with a 10-year warranty and can expand to over 50 kWh. Please note: connecting panels directly is a job for an installer — this is not a plug-and-play system.

Does the Zendure SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro fit your situation?
If you have a well-functioning inverter and no plans for new panels, the 4000 Mix AC+ does the same job for €500 less. This Pro pays for itself the moment you want to connect panels directly: with a new installation, when expanding your roof, or when your current inverter is due for replacement.
It's also interesting for an east-west roof, since the two MPPT inputs work independently and optimize each roof surface separately. Not sure? Just give us a call; we'd rather take a look at your roof beforehand than have you pay for technology you won't use.

For new and existing solar panels
The difference with the rest of the Mix series lies in the dual MPPT input of 8 kW in total: this lets you connect solar panels directly to the battery, without a separate inverter. Because the two inputs work independently, you get the most out of an east-west roof too, since each roof surface is optimized separately.
Do you already have an existing roof installation? Then you simply link it in via the PV-IN AC connection, keeping your current inverter and wiring. This way the total solar input grows to 13 kW.

Power for those peak moments
Where a single circuit is normally limited to 3680W, this system delivers up to 4000W of bidirectional power. That means even heavier appliances, from the oven to the washing machine, run simply on your stored solar energy, precisely during the peak hours when electricity is most expensive.
Charging happens at the same power level, so on a sunny day the battery is quickly full again.

8 kWh that grows with you
With 8 kWh of storage capacity, a household can easily get through the evening and night. Thanks to a round-trip efficiency of 90%, little is lost between charging and discharging, so more of the energy you generate is actually used in your home.
If your consumption grows later on, for example due to a heat pump or an electric car, the system is ready to expand with extra batteries up to well over 50 kWh. So you don't have to decide right now what your household will look like in five years.

Even when the power goes out
If the power goes out, the system switches over virtually seamlessly and essential devices keep running through the backup power output. It delivers up to 3680W continuously, with a peak power of 7200W for devices with a high startup current.
And because your solar panels are connected directly to the battery, it simply keeps charging on solar power during a daytime outage.

Built to last
The battery is good for 10,000 charging cycles. With daily use, that comes down to around 15 years, and Zendure backs it with a 10-year warranty. That's the horizon on which an investment like this can truly be judged.
The metal housing is IP65 dust- and water-resistant and works from -20 °C to 55 °C, so a spot in the garage or outside under a canopy is no problem. Thanks to the integrated swivel casters, you can easily move the unit into place despite its size.

Save money effortlessly
The HEMS 2.0 energy management system automatically decides when the battery charges, discharges, or simply skips the grid, based on your solar generation, your consumption, the current electricity price and the battery status.
With a dynamic energy contract, the system charges during the cheap hours and lets you use your stored power when prices peak. Want your consumption to be tracked more accurately? Then connect the Zendure Smart Meter P1 to your smart meter.

How It Works in Practice
Preferably connect panels that go to the same solar input with the same orientation. So split an east-west roof across the two separate inputs, and each roof surface will deliver optimally. Choose a ventilated spot in the shade and keep at least 5 cm of space clear behind the device for heat dissipation.
Where possible, connect the system to your router with a network cable for a more stable connection. Through the power socket you feed back up to 3000W; if you want to use the full capacity, have an electrician wire the system in permanently. And you can switch on the emergency power output without the app too, by pressing the power button twice.

Safety You Won't Even Notice
The battery management system keeps an eye on each cell individually: voltage, current and temperature are continuously measured and adjusted. If anything deviates, the system steps in before something goes wrong, and the LiFePO4 cells are chemically more stable than the lithium-ion cells you know from phones.
All of that happens in the background, without you having to lift a finger.

Works where other systems fall short
Metal housing, IP65 and a wide temperature range. In the garage, on the balcony or outside under a canopy.

What's the difference from the 4000 Mix AC+?
What's the difference from the 4000 Mix AC+?
The battery, the 4000W output and the expandability are the same on both. The difference lies in the two MPPT inputs with a combined 8 kW, which let you connect panels directly to this Pro without a separate inverter. If you already have a well-functioning inverter and no plans for new panels, then the AC+ is the logical choice at €500 less.
How many solar panels can I connect to the 4000 Mix Pro?
How many solar panels can I connect to the 4000 Mix Pro?
Directly to the battery up to 8 kW spread across two MPPT inputs, plus 5 kW via the AC coupling with your existing inverter. Together up to 13 kW. How many panels that is depends on their output; with modern panels of around 450 Wp, you'll get roughly 28 panels on the MPPT side.
Do I still need a separate inverter with the Mix Pro?
Do I still need a separate inverter with the Mix Pro?
For panels you connect directly, no, because the MPPT inputs do that job. If you already have a rooftop installation with its own inverter, it simply stays in place and you connect it through the PV-IN AC connection.
Does the 4000 Mix Pro work on an east-west roof?
Does the 4000 Mix Pro work on an east-west roof?
Yes, and this is exactly where this model shines. The two MPPT inputs work independently of each other, so you can split the east-facing and west-facing sections across the two inputs. Each roof section is then optimized separately, instead of the weakest section dragging the rest down.
Can I connect my existing panels to the Mix Pro?
Can I connect my existing panels to the Mix Pro?
Yes, via the PV-IN AC connection. Your current inverter and most of your wiring stay in place. So you can combine direct and AC-coupled panels, up to a total solar input of 13 kW.
Can I install the Zendure 4000 Mix Pro myself?
Can I install the Zendure 4000 Mix Pro myself?
No, not entirely. Connecting panels directly to the MPPT inputs is a job for a certified installer, and for full power you need a fixed connection. This isn't a plug-and-play plug-in battery; if that's what you're after, take a look at the 3000 Mix AC+.
Can I expand the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro later?
Can I expand the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro later?
Yes, up to more than 50 kWh with extra battery modules. You start with 8 kWh and expand as your consumption actually grows, for example when you add a heat pump or a charging station.

Prefer to chat first?
With this model, a lot depends on your roof: how many panels, which orientation, and what your current inverter can handle. Our specialists are happy to work it all out with you before you order, even if that leads to a different model.
