Does the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC fit your situation?
The Solarbank Max AC is ideal for households with solar panels who want to make more use of the energy they generate themselves. The 7 kWh storage is perfect for using power generated during the day in the evening and smartly benefiting from dynamic energy rates. If your energy consumption grows, for example due to a heat pump or an electric car, the system can easily be expanded to 42 kWh. For the maximum power output of 3.5 kW, a separate circuit is required.

Store solar power for later
During the day, solar panels often generate more energy than your home uses right away. The Solarbank Max AC stores this surplus in its built-in 7 kWh battery. When the sun goes down or your consumption rises, the stored energy can be put to use again. This way, you get more out of your own generated power at the moments it's worth the most to you.

Add Storage to Your Existing Setup
Because the Solarbank Max AC works on the AC side of your home, you don't need to replace your existing solar panels or inverter. The system is compatible with PV installations from other brands, making it a practical addition to an existing solar energy setup.

Smart Charging with an Energy Meter
With a compatible energy meter, the system sees how much your home consumes and how much solar power is about to go to the grid. The Solarbank can respond to this automatically by charging or discharging. Through the Anker app, you manage the settings, energy flows and charging schedules.

Backup for Important Devices
In the event of a power outage, the built-in UPS function switches over to a separate off-grid mode within 10 milliseconds. The backup output delivers up to 3,680 W to directly connected devices. This does not automatically mean your entire home is supplied with emergency power.
Want your whole house to switch over during an outage? That's possible with the new Backup Auto-Switch: a transfer switch for your meter cabinet that automatically moves your connected circuits to the battery within 20 milliseconds. Available now as a pre-order; shipping late October.

Smart expansion with a modular Anker SOLIX battery
One of the biggest advantages of an Anker SOLIX home battery is its modular design. You start with a 7kWh base unit that matches your current usage and easily expand whenever your needs change, adding 7kWh per expansion battery. A bigger family, an electric car or extra solar panels on the roof call for more storage capacity, and the Solarbank grows along effortlessly.

Designed for long-term use
The Solarbank Max AC uses durable LiFePO4 battery cells designed for 10,000 charge cycles. The IP66 housing protects against dust and water, while active heating supports use in low temperatures. Weighing around 73 kg, it's best to have two people handle the installation.

Designed for everyday use, indoors and out
With a rugged metal casing, durable LiFePO4 battery cells and IP66 protection, the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC is built for years of reliable use. Thanks to active battery heating, the system keeps performing optimally even at low temperatures.
