Order two 4000 Mix AC+ or Mix Pro units (mixing is allowed) and you'll get the 3-phase PowerHub for free! Just request it after delivery in the Zendure app, along with your invoice.
Your solar panels produce plenty of electricity during the day, while you actually need it in the evening. The Zendure SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ solves that without you having to tinker with your existing setup: this 8 kWh home battery connects alongside your current inverter and stores the daytime surplus for the evening and night. With bidirectional power up to 4000W, your household simply keeps running on your own stored energy.
If the power goes out, the system switches over to the emergency power output almost without interruption. The battery is good for 10,000 cycles with a 10-year warranty, and HEMS 2.0 decides for itself when charging or discharging is most cost-effective. If your consumption grows later on due to a heat pump or charging station, you can expand up to 50 kWh. Please note: for full power you need a fixed connection installed by an electrician; via a wall socket you'll be limited to 3000W.

Does the Zendure SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ fit your situation?
If you have solar panels and a consumption of around 3,000 kWh with no plans to expand, the SolarFlow 3000 Mix AC+ is often already enough. It has a fixed 8 kWh of storage and 3 kW of power.
This 4000 Mix AC+ is made for households that demand more: a heat pump, a charging station or simply a family that uses a lot in the evening. You'll probably recognize yourself here if your annual consumption is above 4,000 kWh and you want the system to grow with you. In doubt? Give us a call; we'd rather do the math with you up front than have you buy a size too big.

For those who already have solar panels
The power of this system lies in the special PV-IN AC connection, to which you connect the inverter of your existing roof installation directly. Your current inverter and most of the wiring simply stay in place, which makes adding storage faster and tidier than with a traditional home battery.
Don't have solar panels yet? Then the system also works on its own, for example by charging smartly at times when electricity is cheap.

Power for the peak moments
Where a single circuit is normally limited to 3680W, this system delivers up to 4000W of bidirectional power. That means even heavier appliances, from the oven to the washing machine, simply run on your stored solar energy, precisely during the peak hours when electricity is most expensive.
Charging happens at the same power level, so on a sunny day the battery is quickly full again.

8 kWh that grows with you
With 8 kWh of storage capacity, your household can easily make it through the evening and night. And thanks to a round-trip efficiency of 90%, very little is lost between charging and discharging, so more of your generated energy is actually used in your home.
If your consumption grows later on, for example because of a heat pump or an electric car, the system is ready to expand with extra batteries up to 50 kWh. So you don't have to decide right now what your household will look like in five years.

Even when the power goes out
If the power goes out, the system switches over almost instantly, keeping essential appliances running through the backup power output. It delivers a continuous 3680W, with a peak output of 7200W for devices with a high startup current.
And because your solar panels stay connected via the PV-IN AC port, the battery can keep charging from the sun even during a power outage.

Built for the long term
The battery is good for 10,000 charge cycles. With daily use, that works out to about 15 years, and Zendure offers a 10-year warranty on it. That's the kind of horizon over which an investment like this can really be judged.
The metal housing is IP65 dust- and water-resistant and works from -20 °C to 55 °C, so a spot in the garage or outside under a canopy is no problem. Thanks to the integrated swivel casters, you can easily move the unit despite its size.

Smart savings without even thinking about it
The HEMS 2.0 energy management system automatically decides when the battery charges, discharges, or simply skips the grid, based on your solar generation, your consumption, the current electricity price and the battery status.
If you have a dynamic energy contract, the system tops up during the cheap hours and uses your stored power when prices spike. That way you get the most out of every kilowatt-hour you generate, without having to lift a finger.

How it works in practice
Choose a ventilated spot in the shade, away from heat sources, and keep at least 5 cm of space behind the device free for heat dissipation. Where possible, connect the system to your router with a network cable; that gives a more stable connection and faster responses to your usage.
Through the wall outlet you feed back up to 3000W. If you want to use the full capacity, have the system permanently connected by an electrician. And good to know: you can also turn on the emergency power output without the app, by pressing the on/off button twice.

Safety you won't even notice
The battery management system keeps an eye on every cell individually: voltage, current and temperature are continuously measured and adjusted. If anything deviates, the system steps in before something goes wrong, and the LiFePO4 cells are chemically more stable than the lithium-ion cells you know from phones.
That work happens in the background, without you having to do anything for it.

Works where other systems give up
Metal housing, IP65 and a wide temperature range. In the garage, on the balcony or outside under a canopy.

FAQ about the Zendure SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+
The questions we get asked most often about home storage. Don't see your question here? Feel free to call or email us.
How many kWh do I need?
How many kWh do I need?
Look at what you use in the evening and at night, because that's the part you'll draw from the battery. For an average household of around 3,000 kWh per year, 8 kWh is more than enough. If you have a heat pump, a charging station or a usage above 5,000 kWh, then expanding later is a nice option to keep in your back pocket.
Does the 4000 Mix AC+ work with my existing solar panels?
Does the 4000 Mix AC+ work with my existing solar panels?
Yes, this model is built for that. Through the PV-IN AC connection you link your existing inverter directly to the battery, so your setup stays largely as it is. The system also works without solar panels — in that case it charges during the cheap hours of your energy contract.
Can I install the Zendure 4000 Mix AC+ myself?
Can I install the Zendure 4000 Mix AC+ myself?
Partly. You can connect it to a power socket yourself, but then the power stays limited to 3000W. If you want to use the full 4000W, you'll need a fixed connection made by a certified electrician. So this is no longer a plug-and-play plug-in battery.
What happens during a power outage?
What happens during a power outage?
The system switches over to the backup power output almost seamlessly, delivering a continuous 3680W with a peak of 7200W. So your fridge, lights and router just keep running. And since your solar panels stay connected, the battery even keeps charging from the sun during the outage.
How much do I save per year?
How much do I save per year?
That depends on your usage, your generation and your energy contract. Without a battery you use on average about 30 percent of your own solar power directly; with storage that rises to around 70 percent. Combined with a dynamic contract, you also gain from price differences between day and night. We're happy to work it out with you based on your own annual usage.
Can I expand the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ later?
Can I expand the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ later?
Yes, up to 50 kWh with extra battery modules. So you start with 8 kWh and expand as your usage actually grows, for example when you add a heat pump or a charging station. That saves you a hefty investment up front.
How long does the 4000 Mix AC+ last?
How long does the 4000 Mix AC+ last?
The cells are rated for 10,000 charge cycles, which with daily use works out to roughly 15 years. Zendure offers a 10-year warranty. On top of that, the LiFePO4 chemistry loses capacity more slowly than the lithium-ion cells found in consumer electronics.
