Replacement Filters for the Purifier Max

Pre-filter for hair and coarse dust

The pre-filter catches hair, lint and coarse dust. This keeps the finer layers behind it from clogging up, even in a home with cats or dogs. That maintains airflow and makes the entire filter last longer.

Fine dust layer made of nanomaterial

The second layer is made of fine nanofilter material. In Xiaomi's tests, it removes 99.99% of PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 from the air within one hour. Pollen and pet dander get trapped in it too.

Activated carbon against odors

The innermost layer is a cylinder of granular activated carbon. It traps formaldehyde and TVOC, as well as cooking smells and pet odors. The odors stay in the filter instead of going back into the room.

Original filter from Xiaomi

This is the original filter for the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max, and it only fits that model. The Max uses one filter on top and one on the bottom. This set includes two, so you can replace them both at once.

How long a filter lasts depends on how dirty the air in your home is and how many hours the air purifier runs. Count on 6 to 12 months. If you live near a busy road or cook a lot, you'll be on the shorter end.

You don't have to keep track yourself. If the Purifier Max is connected to the Xiaomi Home app, it estimates the remaining lifespan. You'll get a notification as soon as it's wise to replace it.

Don't wait too long to swap it out. A full filter lets through less air, which makes the air purifier work harder and deliver less clean air.

Quick-release design

Swap filters without any tools

First, turn off the air purifier. Open the magnetic door, pull out the old filter and slide the new one in. No tools required.

Always replace the top and bottom filters at the same time. They're sold together as a set, and the counter in the device tracks both filters together. Reset that counter after swapping them.

Please note: these filters only fit the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max. For the Purifier 6 and 6 Plus you'll need a different filter.
