The Aqara Vibration sensor effortlessly detects large and small vibrations from the surface where the device is placed. But the smart device also detects when it is tilted. Thanks to this feature, the sensor can be placed on the underside of a lid of a box containing valuables, for example. Also, the Aqara Vibration Sensor detects when it has been dropped. Thanks to its small size of 36 x 36 x 9mm, the sensor can be placed on many different surfaces, including on doors, cabinet drawers and valuable objects such as paintings, sculptures and more!

Pair the sensor with Apple Homekit

Thanks to the Zigbee protocol, the Aqara Vibration Sensor is easy to pair with the Aqara Hub M1S or the Hub M2, which then allows it to be used with the Aqara Home, Mi Home, Homey or Apple Homekit. The Vibration Sensor can also be easily linked to the other Aqara sensors(Door and Window-, Temperature-, Motion, Water leaksensors) for optimal protection of your home and belongings.

When the sensor detects vibration, it automatically sends a notification to your smartphone and can for example trigger the alarm of the Aqara Hub. You can also set further reactions, for example the light in the shed goes on when the garage door is opened. In the app you can set the sensitivity of the sensor, so it will not give a false alarm. You can also set a Trigger time of, for example, one hour, so that the sensor only goes off after an hour when it detects something again.

Also good to know! The sensor has a low energy consumption and works for at least 2 years with a button battery.
