VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, or Volatile Organic Compounds. These are gases that usually come from chemicals found in many products found in the home. These chemicals include paints, sprays, household cleaners or even the varnish used on wood floors or furniture.
VOCs can be harmful to your health or cause certain body irritations. The Aqara TVOC Sensor detects these substances as small as 0.1mg/m3 and alerts if necessary. It observes the concentration and level of the substances and so you know exactly the air quality in your home. All values are easy to read from the 2.13-inch E-INK display and the historical data can also be viewed back in the Aqara App.
Practical and smart
In addition to detecting pollutants, it also records the temperature and humidity at your home. The sensor can work with other smart devices to implement various smart scenarios and send notifications to your cell phone. To use the Aqara TVOC Sensor, a Hub or Bridge is required, such as the Aqara M1S or M2 Hub. The device uses two CR2450 batteries with a one-year life span and the TVOC Sensor uses the fast Zigbee 3.0 communication protocol. The TVOC Sensor is easy to attach thanks to several mounting methods including a magnetic mount. The battery level is easy to read from the display.
