Steam function for dried-on stains
In steam mode, a boiler inside the Xiaomi Truclean 5 Pro heats the water up to 160 °C. The steam hits the floor at a 45° angle in front of the roller. So a stain loosens before the roller even passes over it.
Dried-on coffee, ketchup or spilled milk comes right off without a scraper. According to Xiaomi's tests, the steam is safe on wooden floors and tiles, so you can use it throughout your whole home.
Steam is for targeted use. On a single charge you get around 15 minutes in steam mode, so the standard mode is handier for your daily once-over. That one keeps going for up to about 38 minutes.
Vacuum cleaners and mopping in one go
The motor of the Xiaomi Truclean 5 Pro suctions at 26,000 Pa. At the same time, the roller spins 400 times per minute and is pressed onto the floor with about 60 N. That's three times as hard as with the W30 Pro, so stains actually come loose instead of just smearing around.
The roller is continuously rinsed with clean water from the 1-liter tank. The dirty water goes straight into a separate 700 ml tank. That way you mop the entire session with clean water.
Crumbs and wet spills get picked up in one pass. For a knocked-over glass there's a water absorption mode, and for stubborn dirt a mode with extra suction power. The 5 Pro can even handle short carpet.
Anti-tangle control, even on wet hair
Wet hair is usually the biggest culprit: it sticks to the roller and wraps itself around it. That's why the anti-tangle system of the 5 Pro works in four steps. A comb with 4 mm teeth angled against the roller, a metal scraper and a V-shaped suction nozzle work together.
In Xiaomi's test, the system handled 4,500 wet long hairs without them getting stuck around the roller. TÜV SÜD has certified the anti-tangle performance.
The roller runs to within 2 to 3 mm of the edge on both sides. That means you pick up the strip along the baseboard in one go, without having to pass over it a second time.

Lightweight controls and illuminated brush head
A powered wheel in the middle of the brush head pushes and turns right along with you. According to Xiaomi, turning takes up to a third less effort than with the W30 Pro. As a result, the 6.1 kilo device feels light as you move it around the room.
Lay the 5 Pro flat, up to 180°, and it's 13.7 cm high. Xiaomi recommends at least 14 cm of clearance to reach under a bed or sofa. The suction power stays strong because water and air are separated inside.
A blue light on the brush head illuminates dark corners and the space under cabinets, so you can see where crumbs are still hiding. Meanwhile, the display and voice alerts keep you up to date.
Self-cleaning with 100 °C hot water
After cleaning, the station washes the roller and water channels with hot water up to 100 °C. This way, grease and caked-on dirt dissolve better than in cold or lukewarm water. A wash cycle takes no more than 7 minutes.
Afterwards, hot air and a heated plate at 100 °C dry the roller. On the fast setting, it's dry in about five minutes. Drying stays below 45 dB, so you'll barely hear it.
That way, every cleaning session starts with a clean, dry roller, and musty smells don't stand a chance. The battery recharges in the same station.
