This original Xiaomi filter was specially developed for the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4: the air purifier capable of clearing a 20-square-meter room of bacteria, pollen, dust mites, cooking fumes, bad odors and other annoying pollutants in 10 minutes.
Better than a conventional HEPA filter
By combining 2 filter technologies — electrostatic charge and mechanical filtration — the filter removes up to 99.97% of all polluting 0.3μm particles from the air and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke and small particles.
The filter also eliminates nasty odors from smoking, pets, cooking or other activities. Compared to a HEPA filter, it produces less noise and uses less energy while maintaining all its cleaning efficiency.
A single filter lasts you almost a year. Xiaomi recommends replacing the filter element every 6-12 months. The app will notify you when your filter needs replacing.
