The Roborock S8+ is a combination of the Roborock S8 with the RockDock Plus, the automatic self-emptying station.
Perfect Robot for Vacuuming and Mopping
What really stands out about the S8 Plus from Roborock is its dual brush. For the vacuuming part, the device is equipped with two rubber brushes (red and black) that intelligently interlock. This way, they pick up even the smallest crumbs and dust particles without any trouble at all. Thanks to their design, they keep moving effortlessly time and again, without getting stuck on strands of hair or pet fur. What's more, these brushes are suitable for all types of surfaces, from parquet and tiled floors to carpeting and high-pile rugs.
For wet cleaning your hard floor surfaces, there's the built-in VibraRise mopping system. It cleverly makes use of sonic vibrations. These loosen most dirt particles from your floor through very light vibrations, after which they're mopped away easily and completely automatically. The result is a perfectly clean floor that shines like new again!
For carpet, Roborock came up with the Carpet Boost+ System. Using ultrasonic sound, the S8+ detects when it encounters carpeting or a rug, and then automatically lifts the mop so it doesn't touch the carpet. The robot vacuum then increases suction power by 30% to remove all the dirt from the carpet.
Navigates Independently
The Xiaomi Roborock S8 Plus features its own LiDAR navigation technology to map out your home in a smart way. Thanks to its built-in sensors, it knows exactly where to go to get all your floors properly clean. Through the app, you can easily pass on changes or no-go floor areas. This app is the most comprehensive of them all: you can set up different floors and cleaning times, and you can even build a lifelike map by placing your own furniture in it!
The very handy RockDock Plus automatically empties the robot vacuum into the 2.5-litre dust bag. You can collect dirt for up to 7 weeks without having to lift a finger! This RockDock Plus also effectively removes all allergens and bacteria from the air, so they don't get back into circulation. While emptying the dirt bin, the device automatically cleans the DuoRoller brushes.
