Brushless motor with automatic mode
The brushless motor of the 4 Pro spins up to 150,000 rotations per minute in turbo mode. That delivers 280 AW of suction power and a vacuum pressure of up to 27,000 Pa, enough for deep dust in carpet and sand from crevices.
Usually you don't have to pick a mode yourself. In automatic mode, a dirt sensor measures how much dust comes in and the suction power adjusts accordingly.
Meanwhile, the color display shows whether the floor is clean, lightly soiled or heavily soiled. That way you can see when you're done.
Floor brush with blue dust detection light
The floor brush has a blue light that shines 180° wide and about 30 cm ahead. Fine dust you'd miss in daylight becomes visible, especially on dark floors and under the bed.
The right side of the brush is open. That lets you vacuum tightly along skirting boards and edges, where a line of dust normally stays behind.
With the bendable tube you can reach under the couch, the bed and low cabinets without bending over. And that's exactly where the blue light shows you where the dust is.
Anti-tangle brushes for long hair and pet hair
The floor brush and the electric mini brush both have an anti-tangle system. Comb teeth guide hair straight into the air channel instead of letting it wrap around the roller.
In Xiaomi's test, the 4 Pro picked up 200 hairs of 40 cm without a single one getting stuck around the brush. So you won't have to keep going at the roller with scissors.
Got a dog or cat? Then use the included floating hair brush. It removes loose hairs from pets with short or long fur.

Removable battery for large homes
In eco mode, the 4 Pro lasts up to 90 minutes with the lighter attachments and around 60 minutes with the floor brush. That's enough for all the floors in a large house.
In automatic mode, you'll get 23 to 43 minutes with the floor brush, depending on how dirty it is. Turbo mode lasts about 12 minutes, which you use for stubborn spots.

Five-stage filter with HEPA H14
The air drawn in passes through five filter stages: a cyclone in the dust bin, a metal filter for hair, a cyclone with twelve cones, a sponge and an H14-class HEPA filter.
Together they capture 99.99% of particles between 0.3 and 10 micrometres, according to Xiaomi. So whatever you vacuum up, the vacuum won't blow it back into the room.
The cyclone separates the dust from the air early on. That keeps the filters from clogging as quickly and keeps the suction power stable.
