The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Max is the best-equipped model in the Scooter 6 series: 1100 watts of peak power, 70 km range on a single charge and 12-inch tubeless tyres with 45 mm front suspension and dual rear damping. Disc brakes at the front and rear with E-ABS deliver a short braking distance, while the TCS traction control keeps its grip on wet or bumpy road surfaces.
On the 3-inch colour display you can read your speed, riding mode and battery level even in bright sunlight. The first of its kind, this scooter works with Apple Find My, so you always know where it is. Through the Xiaomi Home app you can schedule charging during off-peak hours or set a charging limit. With the separate fast charger, the battery is fully charged again in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Comfort in every detail
The chassis is built for comfort: 12-inch tubeless tires work together with the 45 mm front suspension and the dual shock absorption at the rear to soak up the bumps from speed bumps and rough road surfaces. You also have plenty of room to stand, because the deck measures 600 by 190 mm and rises up into a kicktail at the back, so you can switch positions on longer rides.
The extra-wide handlebar gives you a calm, stable course, and thanks to the frame's low center of gravity, the scooter feels planted in corners too.

1100W under your feet
The brushless motor on the rear wheel delivers a peak power of 1100W, letting you accelerate smoothly from a standstill and climb hills up to 24 percent without losing speed. The top speed is 25 km/h.
You control the throttle however you like: with the thumb throttle or the twist grip — both are included.

Up to 70 km, and quickly fully charged again
The 468Wh battery gets you up to 70 km in the standard 15 km/h mode. Ride everything at top speed in sport mode and that's up to 45 km. While coasting, the scooter also recovers energy, which extends the range even further.
And when it needs charging again, the battery is fully charged in 2 hours and 45 minutes with the separately available Xiaomi Fast Charger.

Brakes That Work Like They Should
Where most scooters stick to a single disc brake, this model has two: one on the front wheel and one on the rear wheel, backed up by E-ABS. You'll notice the difference in a shorter braking distance and stable, predictable braking, even when you have to stop unexpectedly.
The TCS traction control system also keeps you gripped on slippery or bumpy road surfaces. The steel frame supports up to 130 kg and the entire scooter is IPX6 water-resistant.

A display that shows everything
On the 3-inch TFT color display, you can read your speed, riding mode, battery level and charging status at a glance, even in bright sunlight. You can lock it with a physical button on the scooter or remotely via the Xiaomi Home app.
And you can choose from three riding modes: a pedestrian mode of 6 km/h, a standard mode of 15 km/h and a sport mode up to 25 km/h.

Smart down to the battery
The first of its kind, this scooter supports Apple Find My: pair it with your iPhone and you'll always see where it is—pretty reassuring when you park it. If you use Android, you'll miss that feature, but you can still lock it remotely through the app.
The Xiaomi Home app also lets you manage charging yourself: schedule charging during off-peak hours or set a charge limit so the battery stays in top condition longer. You'll find your ride data and software updates in the app too.

FAQ
Everything you want to know before you order. Don't see your question here? Our customer service team is happy to help.
Am I allowed to use this on public roads?
Am I allowed to use this on public roads?
No. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Max doesn't have RDW approval or a license plate, both of which have been mandatory on public roads in the Netherlands since July 1, 2025. So you'll use this scooter on private property. That way you know exactly where you stand beforehand.
What's the difference with the Scooter 6 Pro?
What's the difference with the Scooter 6 Pro?
The range is 70 km for both, but the Max has 100W more peak power, a disc brake on the rear wheel too, 45 mm front suspension with dual rear damping, a 3 inch color display, IPX6 instead of IPX5, 130 kg load capacity and Apple Find My. So for a €50 difference you get significantly better equipment. The Pro does have all-terrain tires, so for unpaved terrain it remains the better choice.
How does Apple Find My work on this scooter?
How does Apple Find My work on this scooter?
You pair the scooter with your iPhone once, after which you'll see its location in the Find My app just like you would with an AirTag. Handy if you lose track of it in a bike shed or parking garage. Please note: this only works with Apple devices, so it's of no use to Android users.
How long does charging take?
How long does charging take?
With the included charger, a full charge of the 468Wh battery takes about 9 hours. With the separately available fast charger, that's 2 hours and 45 minutes. Through the app, you can schedule charging during off-peak hours.
How do you turn on TCS and energy recovery?
How do you turn on TCS and energy recovery?
Both via the Xiaomi Home app; they're off by default. Turn on TCS if you often ride on wet or loose surfaces, and enable energy recovery for extra range. Set a charge limit right away if you use the scooter daily — that saves the battery in the long run.
How much weight can the scooter carry?
How much weight can the scooter carry?
The steel frame supports up to 130 kg, the highest in the series apart from the Ultra. So even with a backpack or groceries, you'll stay well within the limit.
Can the scooter handle rain?
Can the scooter handle rain?
The scooter is IPX6 water-resistant, the highest rating in the series, so a heavy shower is no problem. It's best to avoid deep puddles, and give it a quick wipe-down when it gets wet. That keeps the electronics in top condition.
