With a top speed of 25 km/h and a range of 60 km, this rugged e-scooter is ideal for both your daily commute and longer distances.
The scooter features three speed modes: walking mode (6 km/h), standard mode (20 km/h) and sport mode (25 km/h). You charge the scooter in 9 hours with normal charging, or in 3 hours with fast charging (for this you'll need to purchase the separate Xiaomi Fast Charger).
Powerful motor, great ride comfort
Thanks to the 400-watt brushless rear-wheel motor with a peak power of 1,000 watts, the scooter accelerates quickly and effortlessly conquers inclines up to 22%. The 477Wh lithium battery delivers energy for a range of 60 km, which is perfect for a long ride without worrying about charging.
For even more comfort, the scooter is equipped with an advanced suspension system: dual hydraulic suspension at the front and dual suspension at the rear. This incredible system is unique for a scooter in this price range and provides a very high level of comfort. Together with the 10-inch large and 60mm wide tubeless tires, the Scooter 5 Max absorbs shocks and vibrations effectively, so you ride very smoothly even over bumpy roads or cobblestone streets.
Dual brake system and TCS system
Safety front and rear! The scooter features a mechanical drum brake on the front wheel and an E-ABS electric brake on the rear wheel, which ensures a shorter braking distance and more stability during braking. The improved Traction Control System (TCS) helps with this, providing more grip on wet and slippery roads.
Durable design
The scooter is made from 1.5 mm thick carbon steel and can handle up to 120kg. The 5 Max also has an IPX5 rating, making the scooter resistant to splashing water. You charge it in 9 hours with the included charger or in 3 hours with the optional fast charger.
Smart control
You control it via the Xiaomi Home App, where you can easily check your scooter's status, run firmware updates and adjust the lighting. Lost your scooter? With the Bluetooth function you can easily find the scooter again through sound signals and the flashing light.
Efficient energy recovery and hill assist
The intelligent energy recovery system converts kinetic energy into electrical energy, which increases the range. Another handy tool is the hill parking function: this system keeps the scooter from rolling backwards on a slope, for extra safety on inclined roads.
Optimal visibility in the dark
The scooter is equipped with a 2.5W headlight that switches on automatically in the dark, and a striking rear light that lights up automatically during braking. In addition, the E-Mark certified turn signals and the ambient lighting provide more visibility and safety during nighttime rides.
