Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8

Noise cancellation up to 50 dB and up to 44 hours of battery life

A battery that lasts the whole week

On a single charge, the earbuds play for up to 11 hours, and with the case up to 44 hours. For most people that means charging once a week via USB-C. Ten minutes in the case already gives you four hours of playtime.

Calling without background noise

Three microphones per side use AI to filter your voice from the surrounding noise, even in winds up to 12 m/s. The Buds 8 connect to two devices at once, so you can switch straight from your laptop to a call on your phone.

Light enough to forget

At just 5 grams per earbud, you'll forget you're even wearing them after a few minutes. Thanks to IP54, they can handle sweat and a rain shower. The case, earbuds and all, weighs 44.5 grams and fits in any jacket pocket.

Get more out of your earbuds

Install the Xiaomi Earbuds app for noise cancellation, transparency and equalizer. Try the different tip sizes: the better the seal, the better the noise cancellation. Lost an earbud? Use the app to play a sound.

Active noise cancellation up to 50 dB

Noise cancellation that adapts

Active noise cancellation goes up to 50 dB deep and tackles sounds up to 4 kHz, from the rumble of the train to the chatter in the office. You don't have to fiddle with it: the Buds 8 automatically pick from three levels based on your surroundings and fine-tune the cancellation per ear to how the buds fit. If you do want to hear what's happening around you, just switch to transparency mode, which has a separate setting that boosts voices for a quick chat or an announcement.

11 mm driver with LHDC

An 11 mm driver with room for detail

Inside sits a dynamic 11 mm driver that delivers a full bass layer without muddying the rest. Via the LHDC codec, the earbuds stream in higher quality than standard Bluetooth, provided your phone supports that codec. In the Xiaomi Earbuds app you can choose from five equalizer modes or fine-tune the sound yourself, like a bit of extra bass for on the go or crisp voices for podcasts.
