The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite is, at 18.1 kg, the lightest scooter in the Scooter 6 series: 500 watts of peak power, a 25 km range on a single charge and 10-inch pneumatic tyres with a double front spring that absorbs cobblestones and speed bumps. A front drum brake and rear E-ABS keep braking stable and predictable, even during an emergency stop.
In three steps you fold it into a package you can carry inside under your arm, up the stairs or into the boot. The frame supports up to 100 kg and the IPX4 housing can handle a light shower. Via the Xiaomi Home app you switch between the three riding modes and lock the motor remotely. Ideal for short rides, a first e-scooter or if you often have to lift it.

Portable Light
The carbon steel frame weighs little but supports up to 100 kg, and that's exactly the balance this scooter is all about. Folding it up takes three simple steps: unlock the lever, fold down the steering column and click it into place.
That way you can carry it up a flight of stairs with ease, pop it in the trunk or store it indoors. No heavy scooter that has to stay outside somewhere, but one that simply comes inside with you.

Comfortably on Your Way
At the front there's a dual spring with 25 mm of travel that soaks up cobbles, speed bumps and uneven patches before you even feel them. The 10-inch air tires do the rest: they roll smoothly over gravel and unexpected bumps, keeping the scooter stable and you standing relaxed.
Even on rougher road surfaces, the ride still feels this light and controlled.

Smoothly from A to B
The brushless motor delivers a peak power of 500W, enough to accelerate smoothly and tackle inclines of up to 15 percent without losing speed. The top speed is 25 km/h.
The 216Wh battery takes you up to 25 km in the standard mode at 15 km/h. If you ride everything at top speed in sport mode, that's up to 20 km. For the short trips this scooter is made for, that's more than enough.

Safely on the road, even in the dark
You brake with a drum brake on the front wheel and electric braking with E-ABS on the rear wheel, a combination that stays stable and predictable even during an emergency stop. The headlight illuminates the road up to 15 meters ahead of you and the taillight flashes as soon as you brake, so you're seen from both directions.
The scooter is also IPX4 splash-resistant, so a light shower won't bother it.

Three modes and a smart app
The display between the handlebars shows your speed, riding mode and battery level at a glance. You can choose from three modes: a pedestrian mode at 6 km/h, a standard mode at 15 km/h and a sport mode up to 25 km/h, so you always have the right mode—from your very first practice lap to a smooth ride.
Through the Xiaomi Home app you can also lock the motor remotely, review your rides and keep an eye on your remaining range. Feel free to start in standard mode while you get used to it; the sport mode isn't going anywhere.

Ready to use in seconds
Folded, the scooter measures 1140 by 512 by 555 millimeters, so it fits in a hallway closet or behind a door. Clicking it onto the rear fender holds everything together as one unit, so you can carry it in one hand.
Keep an eye on the tire pressure via the app, because well-inflated air tires roll more easily, brake better and last longer. If the scooter has gotten wet, just dry it off with a cloth.

FAQ
Everything you want to know before you order. Don't see your question here? Our customer service team is happy to help.
Am I allowed to use this on public roads?
Am I allowed to use this on public roads?
No. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite doesn't have RDW approval or a license plate, both of which have been mandatory on public roads in the Netherlands since July 1, 2025. So you'll use this scooter on private property. That way you know exactly where you stand beforehand.
What's the difference from the regular Scooter 6?
What's the difference from the regular Scooter 6?
The Lite is nearly 8 kg lighter, 18.1 kg versus 26.3 kg, and you'll notice that the moment you have to lift it. In return, your range is 25 km instead of 45 km, the peak power is 500W instead of 800W and the load capacity is 100 kg instead of 120 kg. If you mainly make short trips, the Lite is the obvious choice.
How much does the scooter weigh and how do you carry it?
How much does the scooter weigh and how do you carry it?
18.1 kg. When folded, you click the steering column onto the rear mudguard, turning the scooter into one solid piece that you can carry in one hand. That makes it effortless to lift up a flight of stairs or into your trunk.
How far can you go on a single charge?
How far can you go on a single charge?
Up to 25 km in the standard mode at 15 km/h, and up to 20 km if you ride everything in sport mode. Your weight, the temperature and the road surface also determine where you land within that range.
How long does charging take?
How long does charging take?
A full charge of the 216Wh battery takes about 8 hours with the included charger. Put it on the charger in the evening, and it'll be ready the next morning.
How much weight can the scooter carry?
How much weight can the scooter carry?
The frame supports up to 100 kg. That's less than the other models in the series, so if you weigh more or often carry heavy groceries, take a look at the Scooter 6 with a 120 kg load capacity.
Is this scooter suitable for beginners?
Is this scooter suitable for beginners?
Yes, and that's mainly thanks to the three riding modes. You start in pedestrian mode at 6 km/h or standard mode at 15 km/h, and only switch to sport mode once you feel confident. Its light weight also makes it easy to handle when standing still.
