The Xiaomi Mi Ionic Hair Dryer 2 H500 is Xiaomi's latest hair dryer with smart technology that dries your hair perfectly without causing damage. The Mi Ionic Hair Dryer H500 has 7 large wing-shaped fan blades and a powerful 1800W motor that spins at 20,000 rpm. This lets the dryer produce an air pressure of a whopping 20 m/s. The Ionic Hair Dryer 2 also uses unique technology that produces water ions. These double water ions penetrate deep into the hair for long-lasting protection and a soft shine.
Innovative technology
A standard hair dryer has little more than a heating element and a motor to blow air. The Xiaomi Mi Ionic Hair Dryer 2 H500 offers a lot more. Thanks to smart technology, Xiaomi has designed a better, safer hair dryer than anything on the market so far.
With smart temperature control, your hair dries perfectly every time. The hair dryer has two different temperature settings that alternate between warm and cold air. Both settings switch between warm and cold air, but the duration differs based on the ambient temperature. At a low ambient temperature, more warm air is used than cold air and vice versa, which ensures optimal hair drying at any ambient temperature.
Xiaomi has also built in a condensation needle, which condenses the water in the air and turns it into negatively charged water ions. These ions are blown directly onto the hair via a cold airflow through a separate channel to protect your hair and scalp from high temperatures. This makes sure your hair is dry in no time. Thanks to the alternation of heat and cold, the hair isn't damaged and is softer and shinier than with any other hair dryer. That way you always get perfect care for your hair and scalp.
Beautiful design
The design is minimalist white with a sleek look and no fuss. The hair dryer head is made of aluminium and the plastic-rubber handle offers the best grip while drying. The handle is treated with 'BabyskinUV', a special coating that provides an extra soft feel. Thanks to the coating, the handle is resistant to dirt and scratches, and the hair dryer keeps feeling nice even after frequent use. The handle has a circumference of 101mm and sits firmly in your hand. The hair dryer weighs just 550 grams, so it's easy to take with you.
The Xiaomi H500 Hair Dryer 2 has a button to change modes and a slider for the air speed. Thanks to the various LED indicators, you'll instantly know which mode you're using. Several attachments are included, such as an air-permeable cover to prevent hair from getting into the motor. The hair dryer also has a handy hanging loop.
The nozzle of the hair dryer is magnetic, can be rotated 360° and is easy to remove. The cord can handle high temperatures and is extra sturdy. Thanks to the dynamically designed fan and the optimised air channel, the dryer delivers a quiet airflow that's incredibly strong, with a speed of up to 20m/s.
