A power bank for your coffee maker — it might sound strange, but 70mai has developed one. The Tera 1000 power station is a sleekly designed 'powerhouse' with a whopping 1000 Wh, letting you use your electrical devices anywhere. You can use or charge up to ten devices at once — perfect for camping, a music festival or DIY projects!
With the Tera 1000 you can run a blender for up to 4 hours, a fan for up to 21 hours or a mini fridge for 14 hours. That way you'll always have a cold drink and a charged phone. In fact, you can charge an average phone up to 80 times with this Power Station!
Design
The design is minimalist, compact and efficient. The Tera 1000 measures roughly 30x23x30 cm, so it fits easily in your car, caravan or camper. On the front of the Tera 1000 you'll find various ports, such as 2x USB-C and 2x USB-A, which support 60 Watt charging for phones. There are also 2 13.6V DC ports for routers or a security camera, a 12 Volt car charger port and two 230 Volt sockets for any device with a regular plug.
The front also features a colour LCD screen to adjust the settings and see what's being charged. The sides of the Tera 1000 are almost entirely covered with air vents for cooling, and on top of the Tera 1000 there's a brightly coloured, ergonomic handle for easy transport. For the design, 70Mai chose a large fan to cool the batteries and all the electronics. A big advantage over the competition is that this makes the Tera 1000 almost silent during use — just 30 decibels!
Thanks to its double-layer design and galvanised steel frame, the Tera 1000 is very sturdy and can take a knock. The Tera 1000 can be controlled with an app, which lets you keep track of the battery percentage, turn the Tera 1000 on or off, or set a timer for a specific port. When it comes to safety, Xiaomi 70Mai has built in several technologies to prevent overheating, and the internal components can also be checked for defects.
Technology
The Power Station uses the best battery management system on the market, developed by Texas Instruments. The Tera 1000 can deliver a continuous output of 1200W and a peak output of 2400W, allowing almost any electrical device to be powered. Every port supports pass-through charging, which means the Tera can charge devices while the power station itself is being charged.
The Tera 1000 can be charged in four different ways: via the 70Mai solar panel, your car's cigarette lighter, a socket in your home, or with a generator. If you charge the Tera 1000 at home or with a generator, it's fully charged after two hours; with the solar panel, the Tera 1000 is fully charged after six hours.
