The P1 meter measures your power consumption in real time, so the battery knows exactly when to charge or discharge. Included as standard.
Your solar panels generate plenty of power during the day, but you actually need it in the evening. The Anker SOLIX Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro solves this with 5 kWh of storage that your panels connect to directly: four MPPT inputs handle a combined 5,000W, without a separate inverter. You can get started today via an ordinary wall socket at 800W. If you later opt for a fixed connection, it charges and discharges at 2,500W and you'll also cover the peak hours around dinnertime yourself.
If the power goes out, the backup power output takes over within 10 milliseconds. The LiFePO4 battery is good for 10,000 cycles with a 10-year warranty, and the included P1 meter controls charging and discharging based on your actual usage, even with a dynamic energy contract. The IP66 housing operates from -20 °C to 55 °C and cools without a fan, so you can place it indoors or outdoors. If your usage grows later, you can stack BP5000 modules underneath it for well over 30 kWh.

Is the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro right for your situation?
Do you want to connect new solar panels directly to your battery, or get the most out of a large roof? Then this is the model for you: four MPPT inputs, 5,000W solar input, and storage that expands to well over 30 kWh.
Already have a well-functioning inverter and just looking to add storage? Then take a look at the Solarbank Max AC too. It sits behind your existing setup, without changing anything about your panels, and offers 7 kWh of storage with 3,500W of power. That one expands too, up to 42 kWh.

Your panels directly on the battery
Four independent MPPT inputs together handle up to 5,000W of panels, 1,250W per input. Each input manages its own yield, so an east-west roof or a panel in the shade won't drag the rest down.
No separate inverter needed: you connect up to twelve panels directly. The solar power goes straight into the battery, no detours.

800W from the wall socket, 2,500W on a dedicated circuit
Get started today: plug it into a free wall socket and the Solarbank 4 delivers up to 800W to your home. No installer needed.
Want more? Then a certified installer can connect it to a fixed connection. From that moment on, it charges and discharges at 2,500W - enough to largely cover the peak hours around dinnertime yourself too.

Switches over within 10 milliseconds during a power outage
If the power goes out, the off-grid output switches over within 10 milliseconds. Devices on that output just keep running, up to 2,500W continuously.
Anker has announced an ATS box that lets the system take over your entire home later on. Until then, you decide which devices are connected to the backup power output.

10,000 charge cycles and a 15-year designed lifespan
The LiFePO4 cells are rated for 10,000 charge cycles. With daily use, that's about 15 years, and Anker gives a 10-year warranty on them.
The housing cools passively, so without a fan. No moving parts means no noise and less wear.

From 5 to over 30 kWh, whenever you're ready
Start with 5 kWh and later click BP5000 modules of 5 kWh each underneath. With five modules you reach over 30 kWh, enough for a household with a heat pump and an electric car.
Each module has the same IP66 housing and 10-year warranty as the main unit. Expanding is simply stacking and connecting - no rewiring needed.

The app handles it, the P1 meter measures it
The included P1 meter reads out your smart meter, so the battery knows exactly when your home draws power. If you have a dynamic contract, it charges during the cheap hours and discharges when electricity is expensive.
The AI mode learns your usage pattern in a few days. And if you want to build further: there's an official Home Assistant integration that works locally.

How it works in practice
Set the unit in place, indoors or outdoors thanks to IP66. Connect the panels, plug it into the socket and connect the app. Anker calls it 5-second plug-and-play; in practice, count on a relaxed 15 minutes including app pairing.
Keep in mind the weight of 50 kg and leave some free space around the housing. If you want to go up to 2,500W on a dedicated circuit, schedule a certified installer.

Built to stand outside
The housing is IP66 dust- and waterproof and works from minus 20 to 55 degrees. Rain, frost or a hot summer day make no difference.
Inside, the system monitors voltage, current, temperature and insulation, with ten layers of protection from overcharging to short-circuiting.

FAQ about the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro
The questions we get asked most often about home storage. Don't see your question here? Feel free to call or email us.
How many solar panels can I connect to the Solarbank 4?
How many solar panels can I connect to the Solarbank 4?
Up to twelve panels, split across four MPPT inputs totaling 5,000W. Each input works independently with a maximum of 1,250W, so different roof orientations or a shaded area are no problem.
What's the difference compared to the Solarbank Max AC?
What's the difference compared to the Solarbank Max AC?
The E5000 Pro is DC-coupled: you connect panels directly, without an inverter. The Max AC is AC-coupled and sits behind your existing inverter. If you already have a well-functioning installation and just want storage, the Max AC usually makes more sense. If you want to connect new panels or maximum solar input, then choose this model.
Can I install the Anker Solarbank 4 myself?
Can I install the Anker Solarbank 4 myself?
Via a wall socket it is: set it up, connect the panels, plug it in and follow the app. You'll then deliver up to 800W to your home. For the full 2,500W output a fixed connection is needed, and you'll have that done by a certified installer.
Does it work together with my existing solar panels?
Does it work together with my existing solar panels?
Yes. Panels that are currently on a micro inverter or string inverter can be moved over to the MPPT inputs. You can also leave them in place: the battery then charges via the grid connection, up to 2,500W.
What happens during a power outage?
What happens during a power outage?
The off-grid output switches over within 10 milliseconds and delivers up to 2,500W to the devices connected to it. The rest of the house waits for the grid. With the announced ATS cabinet, the system can later take over your entire home.
Can the Solarbank 4 be placed outside?
Can the Solarbank 4 be placed outside?
Yes. The housing is IP66 rated and works from minus 20 to 55 degrees Celsius. A spot under an overhang is better for its lifespan, but it's not required.
Can I expand the E5000 Pro later?
Can I expand the E5000 Pro later?
Yes, with BP5000 battery modules of 5 kWh each. Up to five units, together well over 30 kWh. You stack the modules under the main unit, and no rewiring is needed.

Prefer to discuss it first?
The right size depends on your consumption, your generation and your energy contract. Our specialists are happy to work it all out with you before you order, even if that points to a different model.
