The large aperture and the 6P lens reduce light refraction, making it feel like you're right there yourself.
The built-in AI module for human detection quickly identifies and locates contours, so people are recognized fast. This new technology reduces false alarms caused by other objects, such as small animals or changes in lighting. The result: an instant notification when unwanted persons appear, and fewer false alarms to deal with.
The camera supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band wifi for a stable connection. You store the footage via the cloud or a micro-SD card up to 256 GB. In the app you get 3 months of free cloud storage, where a 9-second alarm video is saved whenever abnormal activity is detected.
Control via the Xiaomi Home app
You mount the camera on a flat surface or upside down on the ceiling, wherever you get the best view. You watch the footage via the Xiaomi Home app. Combined with the Xiaomi Smart Alarm Clock, you can even play the live footage on this smart alarm clock. Thanks to its smart IoT connectivity, the camera also works with other smart devices, such as Google Home and Alexa.
360° rotation for complete coverage
Thanks to the pan-tilt-zoom design and the two motors, you can turn the C400's lens up, down, left and right. When you check every spot with your smartphone, you get a full panoramic view, giving you control and security. To be more specific: the camera has a vertical angle of 106° and a horizontal angle of 360°.
The Xiaomi Camera C400 also delivers sharp footage at night, thanks to the improved Night Vision. Worried the red light of the security camera will keep you awake? Put that thought aside. The C400 has night vision with 940nm infrared light without a visible red glow, for clear nighttime footage. If it's dark in the room, it stays dark.
Real-time two-way voice calls
The camera supports real-time two-way voice calls and picks up audio within a range of up to 5 meters. This also makes the Smart Camera C400 a perfect baby monitor, since you'll hear a crying baby right away. Through the app you can even talk back to your child to reassure them.
