Cleaning is one of those chores you'd rather not do yourself over and over. Still, you want your floor to look neat. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 takes most of that work off your hands. It combines powerful suction with mopping, smart navigation and a large dust collection system. You set it up properly once and after that it gets to work on its own. Ideal if you have a busy household or simply don't feel like having to vacuum and mop yourself all the time.
Cleaning without getting stuck
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 has suction power of up to 10,000 Pa and effortlessly tackles dust, crumbs, pet food and other dirt. Multidimensional anti-tangle technology helps to smoothly pick up hair. The V-shaped main brush and the side brush work together to gather, comb and pick up hair. Long hair, short hair and pet hair are removed without the brush getting stuck quickly.
Vacuuming and mopping
The H40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. The water tank with a capacity of over 200 ml has three adjustable water levels that you can set via the Xiaomi Home app. This way you can match the water output to different floors and stains. You can also choose to vacuum before mopping, which is handy for daily cleaning or when you just want to see a bit more result.
Hard worker
With a battery capacity of 5200 mAh, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 can clean for up to 180 minutes on a single full charge in standard mode. When the battery is nearly empty, it automatically returns to the base station to recharge.
The robot uses an LDS navigation system that scans 360 degrees and generates maps. In the Xiaomi Home app you can view maps, save multiple floors and follow cleaning paths in real time. Multiple sensors help with obstacles, stairs and thresholds, and it can handle thresholds up to 20 mm. This way the space is cleaned more thoroughly with fewer missed spots.
Focused cleaning
After mapping, you set zones and cleaning modes via the app. Think of a round trip around the dining table or sofa. You can also mark off zones where the robot isn't allowed to go, such as play areas. There are separate settings for carpets: avoid them entirely, only let it cross over them or have it vacuum only. This way you can fine-tune the cleaning precisely to your home's layout and your daily use. You can also control the H40 with your voice via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
Large dust collection
The base station has a 4-litre dust bag and supports automatic dust collection. It can last up to 90 days before it needs to be replaced. The disposable bags make emptying hands-free and ensure that little dust is stirred up, which is really nice with allergies, for example. The base station is compact and designed to take up little space.
