This does require the Hardwire Kit UP03. When the built-in G-sensor detects sudden bumps or collisions, the M500 automatically starts recording to capture any potential incidents. When such an "emergency video" has been recorded, the M500 alerts you with a spoken notification the next time it's switched on. On top of that, the M500 also captures the most beautiful moments, and it's possible to make a time-lapse without having to stay in the car for it.

The Xiaomi 70mai Dash Cam M500 also keeps you safe on the road. It detects your surroundings and gives spoken warnings in unsafe situations. In particular, the AI technology of this dashcam helps prevent dangerous situations like collisions with pedestrians and cyclists (and cars, of course). The Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) also gives you early warnings when you accidentally drift out of your lane.
