The Xiaomi IMILAB EC3 camera works as several different types of cameras — as a security camera, for example, but also as a baby monitor. The device has two-way audio, letting you play sound in the room where the camera is located and also hear the recorded sound yourself. Place the camera in the nursery and communicate with your child from a distance! Mount the camera by your front door and pass a message on to the delivery driver or to visitors. With its powerful 3MP lens, the Xiaomi IMILAB EC3 captures razor-sharp footage in Full HD quality with a resolution of 1920x1080p (Full HD).
The camera can rotate a full 270°, so you always have a view of everything. Thanks to the Full Colour night mode, it also records very clear footage in the dark. This means the camera even shows colour at night — a truly unique feature! The Xiaomi IMILAB EC3 also comes with a number of handy functions. For instance, the device can detect people, so the camera automatically sends a notification to your phone whenever a person enters its field of view. That way you always know who's in your home.
Protect your home to the fullest
Because the camera withstands temperatures from –20 to 60 °C and has IP66 protection, the device easily handles rain, snow, sun and dust. This makes it perfect for outdoor placement! And thanks to its compact dimensions of just 11.7 by 11.6 centimetres, the camera can be mounted in all sorts of spots. Put it in your garden, on the stairs or, for example, in your shop.
The camera is controlled via the Xiaomi Mi Home app, so you always have access to real-time footage, anywhere and anytime! With the app you can also operate the camera remotely. You can even trigger the built-in siren via the app, for example when you receive a motion-detection alert. All captured footage is stored (free of charge) online in the Cloud on European servers, or on a Micro SD card up to 64GB in size. Unlike the Imilab EC2, no Hub is required for this.
Another impressive feature is that the camera can work as a Wi-Fi Extender. So you can even use the camera as a Wi-Fi hotspot to extend your wifi signal. On top of that, the Xiaomi IMILAB EC3 can be connected to the network both wirelessly and wired. The camera has an extra-long 5-metre power cable that plugs straight into the wall socket.
