With the Xiaomi Imilab EC5 Floodlight, you keep an eye on your home, yard or front door day and night, preventing unwanted visitors from making their entrance. You can rotate the camera both horizontally and vertically, allowing you to monitor any space in a full 360 degrees. Very handy: when there's movement in the frame, the camera and the flood light follow the moving object, making it easier to recognize burglars in the footage afterwards.
The 3MP camera films in 2K HDR resolution, capturing clear details and colors. The camera is also able to detect a familiar face and sends you an automatic notification on your smartphone the moment that person comes into view. This way you always know who's at the door. Through the two-way audio, you can even play sound in the room where the camera is or send a sound through. That's how you communicate directly via the camera.
Intelligent night mode
With its intelligent night mode, the Xiaomi Imilab EC5 Floodlight goes a step further than traditional infrared light: with the LED diodes you can illuminate the space so that you view and record in color even at night. If you set it up that way, this intelligent night mode only switches on when a face is in view, so the burglar or other unwanted person appears in color on screen. When the camera figures out that the object is not a human, it automatically switches to classic night vision.
The camera is definitely smart: you view the footage via the Imilab Home app or the Xiaomi Mi Home app on your smartphone. Through the app you can also control the camera in real time and rotate it to any angle you like. You can also set 'zones' to keep a specific area under extra surveillance.
When a familiar or unfamiliar person is detected, a notification can be sent to your phone right away, so you're immediately in the know. In an unsafe situation, you can instantly set off the built-in siren. This siren is very loud at 100 decibels, so the burglar disappears immediately and neighbors are alerted. Just as safe!
Resistant to harsh weather
Thanks to the IP66 certification, the Xiaomi Imilab EC5 Floodlight is rain-resistant and works at temperatures from -30 to 60 degrees. This means you can use the camera both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to its compact size, mounting is easy and can be done on the ceiling, the wall or a pole. The camera can rotate horizontally up to 350 degrees, that's almost a full circle! Vertically, there's also a wide viewing angle of 100 degrees.
This wired camera is the successor to the popular Imilab EC3 Camera. You connect via Wi-Fi or LAN cable, and storage works in several ways. The footage from the last 7 days can be saved in the cloud or on a Micro SD card up to 256GB.
