The silicone valve, with a diameter of 30mm and a thickness of 0.3mm, allows fresh filtered air to flow in and prevents condensation inside the mask. The split 3D frame in the mask provides a comfortable fit and extra sturdiness, so the fabric isn't pulled toward your face while breathing and speaking. On top of that, the TPU material gives a pleasant fit that adapts to the shape of your face.
Excellent filter efficiency
The mask fits snugly against your face and comes with no fewer than 5 filters. These filters deliver a PM2.5 filtration efficiency of up to a whopping 97%. This means the mask filters at least 97% of harmful particles, so you don't have to worry about breathing them in. The mask effectively and efficiently blocks bacteria as small as 0.3 micron. As a result, dust, pollen, exhaust fumes and other tiny particles are filtered out without any problems. The Xiaomi SmartMi Mask is intended for daily use, for example on public transport, with a maximum wearing time of 10 hours recommended.
