With the Xiaomi 70mai Rearview Dash Cam S500, you're looking at the design of a traditional rearview mirror, but you receive crystal-clear 3K footage that works as both an interior mirror and a dashcam. The rear image is displayed through the included camera, which you easily mount at the back of your car. The other camera is integrated into the front of the Xiaomi 70mai Rearview Dash Cam S500. This way you easily switch between the front and rear views, or even better: a split-screen showing both front and back at the same time.
Because your car's interior is no longer in the interior mirror's field of view, you also get a wider and clearer view of the road behind you. An added bonus: since the traditional design barely stands out, you don't need an extra (conspicuous) dashcam. That keeps every car looking stylish!
Excellent image quality
The S500 Dash Cam is powered by the 5MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor. It records at a fantastic 1944p resolution with HDR footage at 30 frames per second. Thanks to the 138° wide field of view, you also take in the entire road and don't miss a single detail.
The dashcam features a beautifully large 9.35-inch touchscreen display! On the screen you control the dashcam and adjust the settings to your liking. The screen also works as a rearview camera, so when you reverse, you can show just the image from the rear camera.
The 70mai S500 helps you even more with reversing and parking! When you reverse, the dashcam automatically marks parking guide lines, making parking easier. Afraid of the dark? The S500 certainly isn't! Using the 70mai Night Owl Vision algorithm, this cam shows you good-quality footage even in dark conditions.
Smart features
The Xiaomi 70mai Rearview Dash Cam S500 offers plenty of smart features, such as HDR Dual Channel recording, which lets you record footage from both front and back simultaneously and play it back live, even in complex night scenes or during a sudden flash of light when exiting a tunnel.
Is your car parked and there's a collision? Then the built-in G-sensor activates a 30-second surveillance video (Hardwire Kit UP03 required). Once the video is recorded, you automatically receive a notification. The cam also features a timelapse function and voice control: just say 'Take Photo', 'Lock the Video' or 'Show Rear Camera', for example. That way you keep your hands on the wheel but don't miss a thing. Prefer to control it via your phone? Then connect the cam to the 70mai app.
In the 70mai app you can easily review the camera's footage. Just had a close call and curious who was at fault? Grab your phone and within 2 seconds you're already watching the footage on your phone. Plus, you can easily download the footage to share it with family or friends!
