That's exactly what the Anker SOLIX Backup Auto-Switch is for: a compact transfer switch for your meter cabinet that automatically switches your home over to your Solarbank within 20 milliseconds during a power failure. So fast that your devices don't notice a thing, and so seamless that you only think about the outage when the street lights go out.
The transfer switch works together with the Solarbank Max AC and the Solarbank Max Hybrid, is single-phase with 63A nominal current, and has a built-in energy meter with two CT ports. Installation in the fuse box is done by a certified electrician.

Your groups during a power outage
While the emergency power outlet of your home battery only powers what you plug directly into it, the Backup Auto-Switch switches over the connected circuits of your home. Lighting, fridge, router and wall sockets simply keep running on your stored energy, without you having to switch anything over at all.
The switch is single-phase with a rated current of 63A and a switching capacity of 6kA, and once the grid comes back, it switches back just as quietly.
Instantly measures along as a smart meter
The Backup Auto-Switch has a built-in energy meter and two CT ports: one for the grid and one for an existing solar panel installation. Using 63A current clamps, it measures in real time what your home consumes and what your panels generate, passing that on to your Solarbank via the wired network connections.
This lets your battery know exactly when it needs to charge or discharge, even if you have solar panels from another brand on your roof.
Made for the meter cupboard
Measuring 72 by 66 by 98 mm, the module takes up little space in your fuse box, and with an operating temperature of -30 °C to 70 °C, it also works perfectly in an unheated space.
Anker counts on a lifespan of 10 years and offers a 5-year warranty, so once installed, you won't have to think about it again.
Good to know
The Backup Auto-Switch is connected in the fuse box and should therefore be installed by a certified electrician, who also determines which circuits are connected to the backup power. It's a single-phase transfer switch; for a three-phase connection, check with your installer in advance what's possible in your situation.
The Backup Auto-Switch works with the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC and the Solarbank Max Hybrid. Other Solarbank models and home batteries from other brands are not supported.
