Insight into air quality
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 features a five-way sensor system that measures various aspects of the indoor air. The device monitors PM1, PM2.5 and coarser dust particles, as well as temperature and humidity. The advanced PM1 sensor detects ultrafine particles smaller than 1 micrometer that can penetrate deep into the lungs and are more harmful than coarser particulate matter. This gives you a clear, up-to-date picture of the air quality in your home. The measurements are shown in real time on the built-in color LCD display, so you can see at a glance how the air quality is developing.
Multi-layer air purification
The air purifier uses a five-layer filtration structure. The pre-filter captures larger particles such as dust, pollen and pet dander. The high-efficiency filter removes particles down to 0.3 micrometer, including PM2.5 and smoke particles. In addition, activated carbon is present to absorb odors and other volatile organic compounds.
An integrated UV light module helps reduce bacteria and viruses, such as the well-known H1N1 flu virus, on the filter surface. Finally, ionization supports air renewal, creating a fresher indoor climate.
Allergens, bacteria and gases
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 has been tested for removing common allergens such as pollen, dust mites and pet dander. Bacteria and viruses are also effectively reduced thanks to the combination of filtration and UVC sterilization. In addition, the Purifier is suitable for reducing formaldehyde and TVOCs that can be released from furniture, flooring or paint, for example in new-build or recently renovated homes.
Fast air circulation
With a Particle CADR of 443 m³ per hour, the air purifier can quickly refresh the air in a room. According to Xiaomi, an average room can have noticeably cleaner air within just a few minutes. The device is suitable for spaces of roughly 29 to 50 m² and can support larger spaces at lower refresh rates.
The housing and internal airflow are designed to produce as little noise as possible. In sleep mode, we're talking about a noise level of around 32 dB(A). This makes the Purifier suitable for use in your bedroom or study, or when you simply want to read in peace.
Smart control and maintenance
With the Xiaomi Home app, you can control the air purifier remotely, set schedules and check the status of the filters. It also works with voice commands via Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The filter has a lifespan of around 6 to 12 months, depending on use and environment. Thanks to the magnetic door system, replacing the filter is a breeze.
