On the base there is a single button, with which the lamp can be switched on or off and the intensity and color temperature of the light can be adjusted. The Xiaomi Yeelight desk lamp is tiltable and can easily be adjusted in position to an angle of 135°. The lamp shines in both the closed and unfolded position. Thanks to the four handy modes, a focus, read, computer and child mode, the possibilities are endless: The focus mode ensures that the light changes brightness every so often as a reminder to take a rest. With reading mode the brightness is set to the highest setting and the color temperature (4000k) is set to neutral, making reading a good book enjoyable. With computer mode, the blue light from a screen is reduced because of the warmer color temperature (2700k) and your eyes will not get tired as quickly. Also the child mode is set to a warmer color temperature. Using the app, all these modes and other settings can be easily changed remotely!
