The Zendure SolarFlow 800 Plus is a compact home battery with plug designed for balcony setups and small solar power systems. Compact home battery

The SolarFlow 800 Plus has an integrated LiFePO4 battery with a rated energy of 1920 Wh. The system is modular and can be expanded to 11.52 kWh with additional AB2000X batteries. This makes it suitable as an entry-level solution, but also prepared for growth when you need more storage later.

Its compact size and weight of 21.1 kg make it easy to place the unit on a balcony, in a shed or in a storage room. Compared to the SF800, the SF800 Plus is a whopping 32% more compact and 12% lighter, while it only offers no offgrid emergency power outlet and a 2 MPPT inputs instead of 4. Solar panels and grid power

For solar power, the SolarFlow 800 Plus features two MPPT inputs, each capable of up to 750 W, with a total PV input of 1500 W. The operating voltage range of 14 to 55 V allows the system to become active even at low irradiance levels.

On the AC side, the system delivers a continuous output power of 800 W via a standard wall outlet. Charging via the mains is possible up to 1000 W, allowing you to store energy even when the sun is not shining.

Smart energy management

The SolarFlow 800 Plus works in conjunction with Zendure's Home Energy Management System (HEMS). This system analyzes energy consumption, battery status and dynamic rates and adjusts charging and discharging behavior accordingly. The SF800 Plus also features official Home Assistant integration and you can also control it via Local MQTT, ZenSDK and RestAPI.

Several power modes are available through the app. The Zen mode focuses on automatic optimization under dynamic energy rates, taking as much work off your hands as possible. Auto mode continuously adapts charging and discharging behavior to the current situation, without the need for manual intervention. For users who want more control, there is Expert Mode, in which you can set your own schedules and determine priorities. Control works locally, with fast response time and fine power control.

Safe design

Zendure has integrated multiple layers of security into the SolarFlow 800 Plus. The system uses a Cloud BMS for monitoring voltage, current and temperature, combined with intelligent charge and discharge control at low temperatures.

In addition, the enclosure features fire retardant gel, which expands when overheated and reduces heat dissipation. The metal housing is IP65-rated, making the system resistant to dust and splash water and suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor installations.

Efficient architecture

The SolarFlow 800 Plus operates with a 48 V architecture, which specifications say ensures lower energy losses than traditional low-voltage systems. Combined with GanZen technology, energy is converted more efficiently, with less heat generation.

Each battery is monitored separately through an independent BMS module, so differences between modules do not affect overall system performance.
