Ik heb een aantal van deze Prima plug doet wat hij moet doen. Werkt bovendien prima in combinatie met een Zigbee coordinator ipv de Aqara hub.
Een nadeel die ik wil benoemen is de afmeting van de stekker. De plug is fors. De diameter van de smart plug is dusdanig dat deze zal overlappen met andere stopcontacten indien plug in een dubbelstopcontact of stekkerdoos wordt geplaatst. Sommige platte stekkers zullen nog wel passen, maar een normale stekker zeer zeker niet.
De bestelde aqara smart plug werkt goed en is erg makkelijk te installeren. Bestelling en levering verliepen probleemloos.

Super levering, en super apparatuur. Ik had al eerder Xiaomi producten gekocht en toegepast en was tevreden en dus heb ik nu meer aangeschaft.
Ik ben al jaren lang fan van domotica en heb ook redelijk wat in huis. Mijn zoon attendeerde me op Xiaomi. Dicht bij huis, dus snel geleverd en goedkoop.

Langzamerhand is mijn hele huis op afstand te besturen, en voor een groot gedeelte is dit met de producten van Aqara.
Deze smart plugs werken prima. Van de 6 of 7 stuks die ik de voorbije maanden hier kocht was er eentje bij waarbij ik wat harder op de aan/uit knop moet drukken (wellicht slecht contact) maar hij werkt prima.
Deze plug werkt ook als een repeater in je Aqara netwerk. Dat was eigenlijk niet echt duidelijk omdat je daar geen informatie over kan vinden (zowel hier als op de website van de fabrikant) maar Aqara support bevestigde dit aan mij via e-mail. Heb je dus bvb. een Aqara vochtsensor of andere Aqara plug die wat op een afgelegen plaats zit en niet zo'n goeie ontvangst heeft met je hub, dan kan je dat signaal verbeteren door een extra plug toe te voegen ergens tussenin. Aqara support liet mij weten dat je hier tussenafstanden van 7 tot 10m moet hanteren maar dit is uiteraard afhankelijk van de situatie ter plekken (type woning, aantal muren tussenin, etc.)
Een nadeel van deze plug vind ik wel de limiet van 2300 watt (wat wellicht met regelgeving te maken heeft). Zo dacht ik mijn wasmachine en vaatwasser uit te schakelen wanneer een vochtsensor water detecteert. Helaas zijn dergelijke toestellen zware verbruikers die 2300 watt (of meer) verbruiken. In elk geval kan ik wel zeggen dat de veiligheid in zo'n geval prima werkt en de plug uitvalt. Je kan in dat geval de plug ook niet meer bedienen via de app en moet eerst fysiek op de knop van die plug drukken om hem opnieuw te resetten.
